Ethan works really well at maths time with his buddies. He can identify numbers 1-20 and some other numbers. He can count out sets of objects to 10, he needs support to count out bigger numbers.
He is playing guess my number and learning to ask questions like "Is the number smaller/bigger than 20?"
We get him to put a number of beans in 1 hand and then 1 more in the other hand to help try and grasp the concept of 1 more.
Today Ethan went to the dental van. He let the therapist check his teeth and put some air on them. He let her xray the left side of his mouth, but when it came to the other side his tongue kept poking out the mouthpiece. ☺He did so well, he was so calm and listened really well. Today he wrote a story about it.

As part of his maths, Ethan is learning how to play SNAP! He had great fun playing with his friends.
Ethan has been working hard thinking of stories to write with Hano. He enjoys choosing a picture and talking about what is going on in the picture.
After lunchtime on Monday, Ethan was really hot. He was getting himself wet, rather than drinking the water. Mrs Bartley suggested he water some of our plants. He did a great job!
Yesterday Ethan played dodge ball for PE when he was with Room 10. He did some great throwing and catching and worked well as part of his team! Everyone was very hot and sweaty afterwards!
