Visiting the zoo

I went to the zoo.

I saw some giraffes, some monkeys and sone chinpanzees.

I saw the lion.

The monkeys wee funny .

This is Ethan's story that he wrote about Pohutukawa's trip to Aotea Lagoon on Monday 21 November. He had a fantastic time!

Ethan's earthquake story

Today Ethan wrote a story about the big Earthquake we had in Wellington on Sunday night.

Mrs Bartley helped him think what he wanted to say and she wrote it down. Then Ethan typed it onto the chromebook. Mrs Bartley helped him by saying one letter at a time and he found the letters.

Once he finished his story he found some pictures about earthquakes and added them.

He did a fantastic job!!

The earthquake was big!

It woke ethan uqp.

It was scary..

Bailey gave me cudbles .

Ethan and Mojo

Ethan loves it when Mojo comes to school. Ethan likes to have Mojo sit beside him and he gives Mojo pats.  Ethan loves touching Mojo's ears because they are soft and floppy.

Building time

Ethan has been working with Mrs Bartley and his classmates using the blocks.  Here he is working with Manaia to make a tall tower. 

Ethan was also finding rubber animals in amongst the blocks.

We also used the blocks to make roads.  Ethan liked finding the triangular blocks and using them to make ramps for the cars.  

Manaia and Mrs Bartley made an enclosure for the elephant that had escaped from the zoo.  Ethan’s “crocodile” was eating the elephant!!
